- If you are a sensative person, or have had much trauma in your life, it wold probably be best to be guided personally through this process. We want to properly digest everything that is coming up, including emotions. Email me at adena@adenaroseayurveda.com if you think this would be the best option for you. We would allocate the cost of this course towards a privately guided cleanse.
- It is important to have at least 1 bowel movement each day, and sometimes this change in diet, and movement of toxins to the GI tract can slow digestion at first. Here are a few tips to help you move your bowels (do NOT push!): Drink 1 glass of prune juice, try one cup of ‘Smooth Move’ Yogi Tea, be sure you are walking or doing gentle yoga daily – gentle twists can help – massage your belly in gentle circles from right up and over, down the left side, a few times. Coriander, cumin, fennel tea should also help. If you are having extreme constipation, contact me at adena@adenaroseayurveda.com if you have concerns.
- The common Ayurvedic formula called triphala is regularly used for cleansing purposes, as well as rejuvenation.
